Months away from the assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a three-day visit to Gujarat from April 18, during which he will lay the foundation stone of the WHO Global Center for Traditional Medicine in Jamnagar and a greenfield dairy complex in Banaskantha.

Modi will launch several development projects during the visit and participate in a program for tribal welfare in Dahod.

On 19 April, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of the WHO Global Center for Traditional Medicine (GCTM) in Jamnagar in the presence of Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth and World Health Organization Director General Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus. The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for manufacturing of 9000 HP electric locomotives at the production unit in Dahod. The cost of this project is around Rs 20,000 crore.
